The oldest building in Georgia is the Hernando de Soto's House in Savannah, which dates back to 1673. The house is located on the corner of Bay and Bull streets in Savannah and was occupied by General Oglethorpe during the founding of Georgia. It was used as a residence until the late 1800s and is now a museum. The building is made of brick and stucco and has a distinctive Spanish Colonial style. The house has been restored over the years and is now maintained by the Georgia Historical Society.
